Area Attractions and Activities:

The Outer Banks abound with activities and attractions. The area is surrounded by water and water sports are easily accessible. This area has some of the best fishing in the world. Excellent golf courses are close by. There is superb birdwatching at The Inn as well at the many refuges in the area.

The Outer Banks is home to The Cape Hatteras National Seashore with its miles of pristine beaches and lighthouses. There are also historical attractions, The Lost Colony drama and historic site, The Elizabeth II State Historic Site,The Roanake Is. Festival Park, original US lifesaving stations as well as the Wright Brothers Memorial and museum.

The Roanoke Island Aquarium is a must see.
