Built in 1792, this charming inn is a sprawling colonial with Victorian touches, situated in the quaint village of West Swanzey, about five miles from downtown Keene. The decor of this historic building is lovely with uniquely decorated rooms, tin ceiling, and many antiques. It is located a stone's throw from the 1832 Thompson Covered Bridge, considered to be one of New Hampshire's most beautiful, and close to the other Cheshire County covered bridges for which the inn is named.

Located close to Keene in the beautiful Monadnock region, you'll find plenty to do and see in the area, such as outdoor activities, restaurants, arts/cultural events, colleges, auction houses, antique shops, and the nearby covered bridges.
