In addition to our five guest rooms, our home features two large tropically furnished lanais as well as a spacious living room area where you are welcome to surf the Net via our high speed WIFI or relax in front of our large screen HDTV with premium cable. You can also browse our DVD, book and magazine libraries or take advantage of the 24/7 Premium Kona Coffee and Tea service.
Although we have some excellent restaurants in South Kona, if you would like to explore the preparation of our local delicacies, we have guest Kitchens (private and shared) and an outdoor Grill available for your use. Imagine yourself enjoying a spectacular Hawaiian sunset from our spacious outdoor Jacuzzi after a day of Island adventures.
On our five acre property, you find plenty of privacy for sunbathing, even au naturale if you like, or just stroll down our road and explore a Hawaiian coffee or macadamia nut farm along the way and discover Hawaii's tropical plant and animal wildlife.
All of our guestrooms offer ocean and/or garden views, private bath, refrigerator, HDTVs with DVD and premium cable, shared or private kitchens and either queen or king sized beds. For your enjoyment during your stay, we provide super comfortable beds with premium linens, cozy slippers and robes.
You are welcome to use the snorkeling gear, boogie boards, beach mats and chairs, umbrellas and coolers. Kayak rentals are available. We even have a laundry facility for your convenience.
Area Attractions and Activities:
Directly below our guest house (about 5 minutes away) are the Place of Refuge - a national historic park and Kealakekua Bay - an underwater marine preserve with a vast array of tropical fish, sea turtles and dolphins which you can see while snorkeling, scuba diving or kayaking. Visit a coffee mill and find out how cherries become coffee. Cross Kealakekua Bay by Kayak and go snorkeling in front of the famous Captain Cook Monument. Explore an active volcano at Volcanoes National Park or star gaze from high atop Mauna Kea near one of the many observatories ( or from our hot tub ). Watch manta rays dance during a night dive or hike to one of our many amazing Waterfalls and breath taking Valleys.

Our Kohola/Whale room is our most exclusive guestroom. Spectacular 180 degree ocean views, king size bamboo canopy post bed right up to the panoramic windows, comfortable sitting area, custom build glass block shower, steps away from our outdoor Jacuzzi.
The Horizon or Halawai room offers an amazing ocean view from a luxurious queen canopy bed, premium linens and a private bath with a custom glass block shower. Step outside onto our spacious shared lanai, and lounge on one of our teak daybeds
