Built in 1930 by Professor Alvin Good and his wife, this cozy English cottage, embraced with ivy and nestled among enduring pecan trees, overlooks the ebb of Bayou Amulet.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Completely restored and elegantly furnished guest rooms will not disappoint those with discriminating taste. Stroll through the gardens or relax by the pool.

Upon entering the Good House, you will immediately feel at ease in a comfortable, traditional atmosphere of cheerful upholstered furniture, surrounded by warm wood floors, wide windows, berber rugs and a cozy fireplace in the winter.

The Good House serves a heavy continental breakfast 7:00 - 9:30 AM each morning. This may include: hot and cold cereals, bagels, assorted breads, fruit, orange juice, coffee, muffins, Danish, donuts, etc. Breakfast is included with your room rate.

Amulet Guestroom: Furnished with lovely period English antiques and high wing back chairs. Room includes four posted queen sized bed, color TV, VCR, phone and full private bath.

Alvin Good Suite: Overlooks the swimming pool and offers a private parlor with couch, chair and TV/VCR combo. The separate spacious bedroom with a cathedral ceiling, has a queen sized bed and matching armoire with a second TV and VCR. Jacuzzi tub/shower.
