Bed and Breakfast Description

David Orville Trimmer built Trimmer House for his wife and daughters in 1891. David Trimmer was a wealthy wine merchant specializing in champagne. Trimmer House Bed and Breakfast opened in 1997. No expense was spared in restoring this fine example of Queen Anne architecture into a Finger Lake bed and breakfast.

The Trimmer House Bed and Breakfast owns several hundred feet of private secluded beach property on Seneca Lake. Seneca Lake is located just 5 miles (a 10 minute drive) from the inn. This property is available to our guests for their use to picnic or enjoy water sports. We have a sailboat and kayaks available for rental.
