Bed and Breakfast Description

We are located on four acres of riverfront grounds with ample parking and a private, lighted, five slip, covered boat dock at the junction of the Ohio River and Giant Creek in Franklin Furnace, Ohio.

It has been refurnished and decorated with one-of-a-kind hand-pieced quilts to create a relaxed, intimate atmosphere.

The open, airy kitchen invites relaxed conversation around the serving island before breakfast. The dining room and great room offer panoramic views of the Ohio River and Holiday Point Marina. They are ideal settings for dinners, reunions, discussion groups, and parties.

In addition to the amenities listed elsewhere, the RiverView Room, CreekView Room, MarinaView Room, and HealthView Suite have satellite television, comfortable seating, wall-to-wall carpeting, a writing desk, a direct, private telephone line, and a cordless phone/speaker phone/answering machine.

The exercise room in the HealthView suite is equipped with a treadmill, stationary bike, home gym, ski machine, and television.

The meeting room is designed for business meetings, seminars, retreats, negotiations, round tables, depositions, etc. It is equipped to handle all meetings with full computer, Internet, and audio/visual support.

The RiverView: Has the best panoramic view of the Ohio River. It includes a fireplace, a turret ceiling, and a 2-person whirlpool tub/shower combination in its attached bath. Newlyweds will find the RiverView room a perfect setting for their honeymoon.

CreekView Room: From here, you can see both the Ohio River and Ginat Creek, the outlet to the Ohio River for the Holiday Point Marina. Sit on CreekView's balcony deck, watch the parade of boats to and from the marina, and pick your favorite boat.
