Bed and Breakfast Description

Wingbacked chairs and vintage fireplaces entice you into the oak paneled library and spacious Great Room. The aroma of award-winning cuisine promises an intimate fireside dinner, or a feast amidst stunning panorama framed by multi-paned windows. The Rathskeller Lounge, Game Room, and Movie Room create the perfect diversions for all.

No other Inn offers such a varied array of activities year-round. Tennis, swimming, mountain biking, croquet, badminton, ice skating, and bridle/X-C ski trails are located on the premises. The adjacent glider port offers an inspiring aerial view of the region, and National Forest and State Park attractions are minutes away. Antique shops, outlets, and charming boutiques provide rewarding souvenirs and exceptional finds.

All-inclusive packages allow guests to experience the legendary fall foliage, alpine skiing, horsedrawn sleigh rides, fly fishing, and a multitude of area attractions.

Sumptuous linens adorn the canopy, four poster, and antique beds in the 32 recently renovated rooms with private baths. Three spacious suites offer a fireplace, Jacuzzi, and private balcony. The historical Kinsman Cottage comfortably accommodates from 2 to 12 guests, with views of Mount Kinsman from the upper loft.

The roaring waterfalls of the Flume Gorge are a stunning sight to see! The birds chirp in the new season and as dusk descends, a chorus of eager peepers echo down the valley. And let's not forget the formidable snowcapped White Mountains that shed their snowy blankets to become a lush green hiker's paradise!

If biking is your pleasure, Franconia Notch has a great and safe bicycle path where you can leisurely discover many scenic sites. The famous Old Man of the Mountain, the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway, Profile Lake, the Basin, the Flume Gorge, and other wonderful hideaways are tucked here and there. Travel light, we have bicycles freely available for you.
