River Walk Inn Bed and Breakfast is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on the edge of downtown Eugene. We consider it the perfect location for out-of-town guests.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Built in 1931, the Inn is a large Dutch Colonial home. There are the coved ceilings, quaint fixtures and hardware, and lovely wood floors one might expect in a vintage home.

The rooms are large, light and uncluttered. They are furnished with an eclectic collection of antiques and artwork that lend a casual elegance - pleasing to look at without losing warmth and comfort. The library is an especially pleasant place to spend an hour - or an evening.

That brings us to breakfast. It has been said by many that cooking for the B&B is perfect for Donna, otherwise she would be forced to pull people in off the street and feed them. Her cranberry pecan scones are a special favorite of family members and guests. Breakfast can be substantial or light, as you please.

We will attempt to accommodate your needs and preferences regarding menu and meal time whenever possible.

Area Attractions and Activities:

We are close to almost everything. The University of Oregon is less than 10 minutes away by car or bicycle, as is the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, Lane County Fairground, downtown shopping and restaurants. Eugene's mall, Valley River Center, is a short walk down the bike path and over a foot bridge - perfect for an evening stroll.

The Bed and Breakfast Inn gives you immediate access to the Willamette River bike and walking trail and the parks that border the river. The Owen Rose Garden, a lovely rose and perennial garden is just down the path and is a great after-breakfast meander. The trail is a paved path of over 20 miles, much of it along the river - well-loved and used by visitors and locals alike. The trail also allows you to walk or bike to the University and Autzen Stadium without using surface streets.
