Bed and Breakfast Description

We like to think of the Tern Inn as a visit to “Cape Cod as it should be.” We are in a quiet residential neighborhood, just a short walk to a lovely beach on Nantucket Sound. We have a pool and recreation area, and gas grills and picnic tables are available for your enjoyment. A unique property offering weekly family cottages, or daily inn rooms for a shorter visit.

Perhaps you are planning a family reunion, or a small site wedding. We can help! Our guest rooms accommodate up to 30 people, and cottages can accommodate up to 27, so we are great for parties of about 50. We can plan menus, offer rental suggestions for equipment, help with vendors, or just be available for your accommodations. We have had tents in the backyard, so if your group is no larger than 125, we can accommodate the host families, and have other guests as well.

We are the perfect site for small business meetings as well, with computer connections, movie screens, flip charts, and more. We are happy to arrange any off site exploration, or design packages to fit your needs, for 2 to 42 guests! We are always ready to create the perfect vacation or function for you and your guests.

Area Attractions and Activities:

West Harwich is one of the most centrally located villages on the Cape. We are about 30 miles from each end of the Cape, so you don't need to spend time (or use up gas) to reach any of our delightful villages. We offer great beaches, ferry service to the islands is just minutes away, and we have numerous fishing charters and boat services nearby. There are bumper boats, mini golf, area golf courses, tennis, and some of the best biking trails in New England.

If it rains ( and it never does during your visit!) there are up to the minute movie theaters, shopping in every direction, museums, and modern libraries to fill your time.
