Triangle Ranch
Philip, South Dakota.
Near Badlands National Park, experience a premiere South Dakota bed & breakfast at Triangle Ranch. Historic Sears Catalog home and Carriage house for families, couples or the single traveler. Peaceful prairies, hiking and stargazing.
Bed and Breakfast Accommodations

With its 409 windowpanes glistening in the South Dakota sun our historic Sears home has stood overlooking the Bad River for six generations. Eighty-seven Christmas Eves have been celebrated, wedding vows said, birthday parties, reunions and funerals have all taken place here. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the "Alhambra" houses the Triangle Ranch Bed and Breakfast where H. H. and Grace Williams' great-granddaughter, Lyndy, and her husband, Kenny Ireland welcome guests with that same traditional South Dakota hospitality.
Triangle Ranch is a great spot for kids. The only TV is in the common area of the B & B, but they have all of the great outdoors to explore. Our Cowboy Carriage house is every kids dream, with cowboy bunk beds and a loft. Mom and Dad will be happy to know that the price is right too.
Breakfasts are fresh-cooked with things such as feather-light waffles, crispy bacon, cheesy scrambled eggs and juice (well, coffee too for Dad). Our horses, Tex and Woody, are always waiting for petting and treats. There's fossil hunting and an old-fashioned playground just down in the meadow with swings and teeter-totter (also, seating for Mom and Dad to watch the sunsets).
Couples like the peaceful atmosphere too. The private accommodations, hiking in nearby Badlands National Park and a delicious dinner waiting back at Triangle Ranch is a popular way to end a day experiencing the prairies of South Dakota.
