Bed and Breakfast Description

Built in 1865, this charming Victorian home features ornate hardwood floors, twelve foot ceilings, beautiful plaster moldings and a grand staircase.

Noted for its original Victorian features but modern amenities, the Cornerstone is graced with seven exquisite stained glass windows from the turn-of-the-century.

Relax and enjoy one of our six beautifully appointed rooms and suites all with private bathrooms. Situated in a prime location, Cornerstone offers a unique opportunity to enjoy Philadelphia with Center City only minutes away and easily accessible by public transportation.

Guest rooms and suites include luxurious linens, private bathrooms with multi-setting hand held showers, soap, shampoo, conditioners, hair dryers, CD/clock radios, flat screen TVs with in excess of 100 channels including music, WIFI for your laptop computer, A/C in the summer, and guest refrigerators. Ironing boards and irons are available upon request.

The Continental Suite: A 2-bedroom suite with a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, & double sinks. The larger bedroom, with a soothing floral theme, has a queen bed and the smaller adjoining bedroom has a double bed.

The Franklin Room: Decorated in blues and browns,this bright, corner room has a queen sized bed, TV, and spectacular detached private bathroom with original turn of the century tile, stained glass windows and shower tub combination.

Reservation Notes:

•You may make reservations on-line or by phone. We do not make reservations using e-mail. One half of your reservation amount or one night (which ever is greater) is charged to your credit card at the time of your reservation. •Check-In is from 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Early Check-In is available by request at the time of reservation. Your room/suite will be guaranteed by 1:30 PM. A $20 Charge plus Tax will apply to your credit card at the time of reservation. •If you need to arrive after 10:00 PM, please contact us to make arrangements. •Check-Out time is 11:00 AM. However, you may store your luggage on the day of check-out without charge until 5:00 PM. After 5:00 PM, there is a $25 storage charge. •If you must CANCEL or SHORTEN your stay, please let us know at least 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. A $35 rebooking fee applies to all cancellations. If you fail to cancel, or cancel within 7 days of your reservation, you will be charged for the entire reservation including Tax.
