Bed and Breakfast Description

Sugar Hill, New Hampshire bed and breakfast: Sugar Hill Inn

This rambling farmhouse, built in 1789, has handhewn beams, wide pumpkin pine flooring and rippled glass window panes all kept impeccably clean. The gardens, with large perennial beds, surround the vast landscape. Many windowboxes with colorful annuals attract hummingbirds all through the summer season.

The stone veranda offers guests spectacular views of the White Mountains' rugged peaks of granite. You will always feel at home here, whether it's a first visit or an annual pilgrimage.

Breakfast, served each morning between 8 and 9:30 A.M., includes fresh brewed coffee, homemade muffins, and juice accompanied by a choice of entrees. Gingerbread Pancakes, Old-Fashioned Red Flannel Hash or Cinnamon Raisin Bread French Toast are a few of the favorites.

Each day at four o'clock, a table is set with sweet breads, cookies or scones with a selection of herbal teas to welcome new guests and those returning from a day's adventure. Dinner at the Inn is superb and prepared especially for our guests by Chef Val Fortin. His menu offers several selections and will vary with each season. Kindly arrange your dinner plans when making reservations at the inn.
