Bed and Breakfast Description

Within the Bartlett House you will see stately Corinthian columns, stained glass windows, magnificent white oak parquetry floors, two fireplaces and intricate moldings rarely seen today.

The furnishings and adornments are the result of Diane's years as an Interior Decorator, as well as from Jack and Diane's many years of travel to Asia, Africa, South America and Europe. Jack still travels for the World Wildlife Fund and continues to acquire items that add unique touches to the Inn.

This beautiful Colonial Revival home has 10 Guest Rooms, eight with private bath and one private two bedroom unit that shares a newly renovated bath. The original structure was completed in 1908 by NY Assemblyman John Bartlett to entertain that period's luminaries. Now in its 3rd decade as a B&B, Owners Jack & Diane (since July ‘03) have spent the last three years restoring this magnificent structure to its original beauty, and have added additional common areas to be enjoyed by all our Guests.

#2, The Master Bedroom: Beautiful king four poster mahogany bed, settee and antique wingback chair by working fireplace, antique ladies writing desk, vanity, armoire with TV and numerous other special pieces. This is truly a beautiful and romantic room.

#8: A spacious Asian-inspired bedroom with a king size bed with lacquer headboard. In addition, this room features a sleeper sofa and chair in the sitting area. The large bathroom has a clawfoot tub with shower. A quiet and restful special place.
