Bed and Breakfast Description

You'll feel transported to another place in time, as you gaze out your guestroom window over the sparkling waters of Winyah Bay. Located on the waterfront 60 miles north of Charleston and 35 miles south of Myrtle Beach, just off Highway 17.

Images of the past continue inside the immaculately restored house as light floods the generously sized rooms of original heart pine floors, deep colonial moldings, family antiques, eight fireplaces and oriental carpets. The parlor and formal dining room overlook the harbor and are available to guests.

A full breakfast is served each morning, perhaps including the house special of Shrimp and Grits, and refreshments are offered in the afternoon.

Each of the four bedrooms has a private bath, several with claw-footed tubs, telephone and television, individual thermostat and a lovely waterfront view. Each of our bedrooms is named for a famous ship that once traveled the waters of Winyah Bay.
