The wonderful wrap-around porch welcomes guests to the main house and to the gracious hospitality and tranquil atmosphere found here. On arrival, relax and enjoy a "welcome tea" along with butter cookies on the porch. It is the perfect place to rest and catch your breath after a busy day exploring the city of San Antonio and all the festivities on the Riverwalk.

The Carriage House lodging is adjacent to the main house and was built around the turn of the century. It has been completely renovated, featuring shuttered windows with flower-filled window boxes, gardens, balcony and patio areas, and has two guest rooms.

A gourmet breakfast, with dessert, is served in the formal dining room with china, silver and crystal. Fresh ground coffee, specialty teas, uniquely blended fruit juices, a main entree, fresh fruit and coffeecake, muffins or pastries are served to all our bed and breakfast guests. They are beautifully and artistically presented and equally as delicious, always receiving rave reviews!

The landscaped part of the Riverwalk begins across the street and within a short distance, it will take you to all of the downtown area restaurants, shops, and other area attractions including the Alamo, The River Walk, Arneson River Theatre, La Villita, Tower of Americas, Institute of Texan Cultures and Yanaguana Cruises

Or you can take the trolley, which stops around the corner and leisurely travels through the King William Historic District, the Southtown area, and then to all the downtown areas you will need to see. The trolley also continues on to the Spanish Governor's Palace, the San Fernando Cathedral, the El Mercado (the Mexican Market), Alamodome, and Sunset Train Station.

Convenient transportation is also available to San Jose Mission, Sea World, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the zoo, the Botanical Gardens, and the museums. San Antonio is the countries' most unique golf destination, with many challenging and picturesque golf courses to choose from.
