Arrowhead Country Inn provides a wonderful ‘base camp’ setting for avid hikers and casual sightseers, as well as a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere for those who want to escape the clamor of the city, or rest after a day or three of hiking. The weary traveler is advised to soak up sun by the pool, doze in the shade under the apple trees, or relax and watch the goldfish play in the pond. We understand, though, if you’d rather be out hiking. We know that nearby there are many wondrous sights to see and a multitude of trails beckoning for you to follow. When you come back from the parks, you’re welcome to pamper yourself in the Jacuzzi before dinner.

Relax in Broken Arrow’s brand new dining room, with its huge timbers, high ceiling and a great view of the White Cliffs through the big picture windows. Sip on a glass of wine or a cold beer while our classically trained chef prepares a Southwestern Chicken Cordon Blue with Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce, or Steak Sonora with Carmelized Onions and Peppers and Freshly Baked Tortillas, or Maple Glazed Salmon with Red Wine Sauce - to name but a few, all served with delicious homemade Shepherd's Bread.

In the morning, wake up to the aroma of fresh coffee; Strawberry Cheese Blintzes; Fluffy Pancakes topped with Maple Syrup, Peaches, Blueberries or Raspberries; Bacon or Sausage and Eggs; Apricot and Almond Muffins; or Mt. Caramel Apple French Toast, to name but a few.

Arrowhead Country Inn of Mt. Carmel is located between three stunningly scenic National Parks and a variety of State Parks and National Monuments. Mount Carmel is on the northern curve of the Southwest's Grand Circle, in the geologically diverse area of East Zion, just south of Bryce Canyon’s whimsical hoodoos, and just north of the pristine Ponderosa forests of the Grand Canyon’s North Rim. In addition, to the east, the vast Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument makes its presence known with its towering and scenic White Cliffs, one of the several immense and colorful geological ‘steps’ of the Staircase, ascending in awesome grandeur across Southern Utah. Other nearby sites worth visiting include St. George, the Coral Pink Sand-dunes State Park, Best Friends’ Animal Sanctuary, Kanab’s Little Hollywood, Cedar Breaks National Monument, and the clear blue waters and red sandstone cliffs of Lake Powell.

The Orchard Cabin, tucked away in our quaint apple orchard, offers a comfortable king-size bed, Southwestern decor, cozy fireplace, living room with queen size roll-out couch, mini-kitchen, and beautiful views of the White Cliffs.
