Lang House on Main Street
Burlington, Vermont.
Beautifully kept property that includes period furnishings and modern amenities such as WiFi, HDTVs and cable. 19th century designer Charles Eastlake touches can be found throughout the main house. The Carriage House has two cozy cottage guest rooms.
Bed and Breakfast Accommodations

The Lang House on Main Street was built as a private residence in 1881 in the architecturally rich Hill Section neighborhood of Burlington, VT. Converted to a B&B in 2000, the Lang House offers eleven guest rooms with tasteful appointments and furnishings. All guest rooms have private en suite bathrooms and are stocked with soap, shampoo, lotion, hair dryer, towels and robes.
We serve breakfast between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. in the first-floor Dining Room and Sun Porch. Guests are seated at private dining tables.
We offer guests three, inventive and delicious breakfast options each morning: homemade nutty granola served with a Vermont organic non-fat yogurt or milk, and fresh fruit; an egg dish, which might be herb scrambled, poached, fried or souffled; and pancakes, French toast or waffles. All dishes include a selection of breakfast meats made in Vermont and New Hampshire, fruits and vegetables, and homemade baked goods. We believe in buying local!
We can accommodate your special dietary needs (e.g., vegan, gluten sensitivity, lactose intolerance). Just let us know prior to your arrival.
Our moto, which we embrace most heartily, is: At the Lang House we combine 19th century charm with 21st century service.
Lastly, it means a lot to us to be a Vermont designated green hotel. We conserve and reuse resources to the best of our ability. Our cleaning products are effective, but not harmful.
We look forward to having you here as our guest.

| " ...The charm of the inn, its scrumptious breakfasts & afternoon treats are always inviting. Have thoroughly enjoyed all of my visits to the Lang House." - Michelle, frequent business traveler "The Lang House is such a cozy and inviting place to stay, and it's so close to downtown Burlington. The Long House is one-of-a-kind. One reasons is that the innkeeper hires friendly, bright and very helpful college students." - John & Wendy, NY |
