On the National Road. In 1872 George Green McKinley, one of the contractors of the famed National Road, built a 14 room Italianate style house for his family. The house is built of red brick made on site from clay dug at nearby Croy Creek.
Bed and Breakfast Description
The McKinley House is available for private parties, luncheons, high teas, retreats, family gatherings, bridal and baby showers, holiday dinners, mystery dinners and more.
Area Attractions and Activities:
10 minutes to Park County, covered bridge capital of the world. Home of the Covered Bridge Festival in fall and other festivals throughout the year such as the spring Maple Syrup Festival and Mushroom Festival also in the spring.
Close to Lieber State Park, Raccoon Lake, Turkey Run State Park, Shades State Park, McCormicks Creek State Park and Clay City Pottery.

The Victorian room is filled with antiques. The heavily carved east-lake style bed is a comfortable queen size. Take a bubble bath in the claw-foot tub.
