At Welcome HOME B&B, you'll enjoy breathtaking sunsets, cool breezes, rural silence, fresh scents, fawns romping, crisp fall colors, bandit raccoons, an evening firefly light-show, winter whites, a palette of prairie flowers & grasses, zippy dragon flies, fuzzy caterpillars and delicate butterflies, brilliant green tree frogs with orange feet, bumpy backed toads, slimy salamanders, frisky chipmunks, sassy blue jays, brilliant red Cardinals, speedy hummingbirds, soaring hawks and if you're really lucky - a sly red fox running through the woods!

Covered parking leads to a private guest (no step) entry of the B&B wing of our spacious country home. Natural light flows throughout via bountiful windows, skylights, sliding glass doors. Come see for yourself, soon.

The inviting family room offers cozy seating, game table, gas fireplace, a library for all ages including large print & talking books, a computer (dial-up) Internet, cribbage board, puzzles, board games, CD player.

Enjoy breakfast at your leisure. Mingle with other guests. Linger with your coffee in a willow rocker in front of the fireplace. Sip your juice (or evening wine) while relaxing on a deck overlooking the prairie. Enjoy fresh warm bread and homemade jam as you stroll around the garden.

Kitchenette, charcoal grill, bonfire pit are all available to you. Prepare a picnic to enjoy at a table in the woods or prairie.

Penny's Room: A full size bed plus a single waterbed with down comforters. Wicker, white brass & pine furniture complement the room's calming earth tones & antique Audubon prints. Cable TV/VCR. Watch the deer romp or the sun rise from your east windows.
