Built in 1819 by the renowned shipwright Thomas Kemp. Rambling porches, arching shade trees and a mile-long nature trail meandering through the 100-acre organic farm continue the tradition of Eastern Shore hospitality. Voted Best B&B in Talbot County, MD in 2003.Wake up each morning in one of our special guestrooms ready and rested for the day ahead. The Wades Point Inn has spectacular views of the Chesapeake Bay. All rooms are furnished and decorated in traditional period decor. Many rooms have private waterside balconies, air conditioning, and some have kitchenettes. A substantial continental breakfast of fresh fruit, in season, homebaked French rolls and muffins, granola, cheese and beverages is served.

Most Popular Rooms:

The Main House c. 1819: Two beautifully decorated period rooms are available in the main House. Each has a double bed, a twin bed and a private bath and air conditioning. The rooms can be combined to form a suite.

Mildred T. Kemp Guest House: Each of these twelve comfortable rooms have queen size beds, air conditioning, private bath and private waterside porch or balcony. Some have a kitchenette. Wheelchair accessible.
