Christopher's by the Bay
Provincetown, Massachusetts.
A nineteenth century, Victorian bed & breakfast, located in historic Provincetown, Christopher's by the Bay is a quiet escape to the romance of the past.
Bed and Breakfast Accommodations

At the tip of Cape Cod, nestled between the sea and sand of Provincetown Harbor, sits a vibrant New England village called Provnicetown. In the heart of this historic harbor town, on a quiet side street you'll find Christopher's By The Bay, a mid-nineteenth century Victorian bed and breakfast.
While we're still working on exploring the history of this old house, we do know that it has been a home to school teachers, artists, fishermen and sea captains in its long history.
All of our ten guestrooms have telephones with voicemail and dataport, cable TV/VCR, wireless Internet, fridge and air-conditioning. The Inn is regarded as a quiet escape and romantic getaway and we work hard to foster that environment.
No children under the age of 16 are permitted at the Inn, unfortunately we cannot make any exceptions. We have limited rooms available for dogs and there is an additional $20 per night for dogs staying with us. Dogs must be well behaved and get along with humans and other canines.
Stroll through the east end art galleries, enjoy a bike ride to Herring Cove beach or relax in our quiet outdoor garden. From the warm sands of Race Point to the glimmering reflection of sunset, travelers are met with countless reminders of the unique vacation experience that is Provincetown.

Area Attractions and Activities:
Provincetown is the oldest existing art colony in the United States. Staying true to the history of this little seaside village, each guest room is named after one of the greats: Michelangelo, Dali, O'Keefe, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, etc.
Today, the wealth of preserved historic buildings combines with the lure of the sea to create a magical place. The rich texture of cultural, period and social influences has produced a sense of place that is uniquely Provincetown. These special qualities have, for over a century, attracted artists, tourists and bohemians who have blended with the local population and produced the character of the community. Provincetown is truly like nowhere else.
