Bursley Manor is an old dairy farm, nestled among magnificent chestnut trees. Built in 1670, it's one of the oldest family properties in the quiet and peaceful village of West Barnstable on Cape Cod.

This expansive 15-room home was once the center of operations for a grand dairy farm. You'll still find the working milk door in the kitchen, as well as five fireplaces and a beehive Dutch oven, which have been restored. The large central chimney, which serves these, is a fine example of American craftsmanship that is unforgettable.

The Bursley Manor features expansive rooms, each with it's own private bath, therapeutic spa, hair dryers, robes and personal ammenities. All guest rooms have king size beds, remote control
cable TV, VCR and air conditioning. Most rooms feature working fireplaces. For those who travel with computer, wireless high-speed Internet access is also available througout the manor.

Take a whalewatching tour. Explore the many Cape Cod lighthouses. Visit Plymouth Plantation. Go sailing or fishing. Tour the beautiful Newport mansions. Bask in the sun on a sandy beach.

Dine in casual or fine restaurants. Ride a bike on of the many Cape bike trails. Explore antique shops and galleries. Play golf on one of the many golf courses. Visit Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard. Enjoy a day trip to one of Boston's many museums or experience the history of the Freedom Trail.

Most Popular Rooms:

The Mad Jack Room: Was named after West Barnstable's most famous sea captain, Jack Percival. Captain Percival planted the magnificent chestnut trees located on our boundaries. This room features a fireplace and sculpted mahogany decor.

The Wisteria Room: Gets its name from the beautiful wisteria vines and murals handpainted by Lindsay Hopkins, a well known Cape Cod decorative painter. Her work can be found throughout the manor.
