Bed and Breakfast Description

Fryeburg, Maine bed and breakfast: Peace With-Inn

Only minutes from bustling North Conway, NH and the White Mountain National Forest. Serenely nestled at the base of the Saco River Valley’s western foothills, amidst stately maples and 200 year-old giant pines, you’ll discover the quaint charm of rural Maine and Peace With-Inn... your special place to get away from it all.

Escape your world and step into ours. Our lovingly renovated New England farmhouse and barn, originally constructed in 1750 and maintained by the Hardy family for 10 generations, today combines a perfect blend of modern comforts and the romance and historic charm of pre-Revolutionary colonial America.

Our five welcoming guestrooms feature soothing pastoral views and are beautifully appointed with only your comfort, relaxation, and peace in mind. Delight in fine linens, fresh cut flowers, and fine period antiques.

Relax in the comfortable Keeping Room with its pumpkin pine wide plank floors and cozy wood stove or browse the shelves and curl up with a good book in the Book Nook. Catch a sports event or watch your favorite TV program in the Fox’s Den.

Pick up a cooking tip or play a board game in our large farm-style family kitchen (open to guests except during meal preparation), and enjoy our gracious dining room with its antique china, crystal, and silver, and intricate turn-of-the-century pressed tin ceiling.
