![]() The original home of Walter Reid, the donor of Reid State Park in Georgetown, and later his daughter Louise R. Butler. It is now owned by Mr. Reid's great granddaughter Penny, and her family. Five unique rooms, all with private baths, air conditioning and great ocean views. Beautiful gardens and elegant old plantings adorn the grounds. A roomy casual porch catches the warm summer breezes. Enjoy the "Spanish Room" for quiet times and reading. An inviting and hearty Maine breakfast is served daily in our dining room or on the porch, where you can enjoy the view. We are a non-smoking inn. You can sit all day on the surrounding deck and watch the lobster boats, birds and seals playing in the water. Guests have said, "They have found a new home on the coast of Maine."
