Bed and Breakfast Description

The Elkhorn View Lodge was finished in 2001 and is constructed of 14" diameter logs, three large stone fireplaces, fir wood and blaze slate floors. There is a large inviting great room with a 30-foot high ceiling, with huge exposed scissor trusses.

Come to relax, read and sit in the hot tub or sauna. Or explore the 440-acre park-like ranch with Ponderosa pines, Douglas fir, and Aspen trees. You can also enjoy the endless variety of rock formations, formed by the boulder batholith.

Area Attractions and Activities:

The Elkhorn View Lodge is located only ten miles south of Helena, and is also halfway between beautiful Glacier and Yellowstone parks. State Capitol building, lakes, Cathedral Ski Resorts, museums.

Most Popular Rooms:

Glacier Room: Themed after Glacier Park. Soft and romantic, with faux fur on the bed.

Native American Room: Many people say they get the best sleep in this room. It could be due to all the dream catchers surrounding the bed or maybe the fact that this room is at the end of the hall and away from activity.
