The Perry House was built in 1903 and recently restored into a beautiful country inn complete with custom designed furnishings by master craftsmen, Carl and Jim Stanton of Linville, North Carolina.

At an altitude of 3,745 feet, The Perry House is conveniently situated slightly above downtown Banner Elk, just up the hill from Dunn’s Deli and within walking distance to all the unique village shops, cafes, fine dining restaurants, and Lees-McRae College.

We look forward to hosting you soon. If all you want to do is "kick back" and relax, then we'll have a chair waiting for you on our porch in summer or by the fire in winter.

All of our guest rooms are tastefully decorated and have plenty of room for all your belongings. With two windows in each room, they are bright and cheery, helping you to appreciate the wonderful surroundings. Each room has an in-room bathroom, queen-size bed with down comforter, cable TV with VCR, and individually controlled heat and air conditioning. At the end of a busy day, you can choose from our selection of movies and watch it in the privacy of your room or while relaxing on our overstuffed living room sofa. We also have plenty of newspapers, magazines, and books if reading is more your pleasure.

We are just a few minutes from Sugar or Beech Mountain ski resorts and only fifteen minutes from Hawksnest. You can enjoy a lovely view of both Grandfather Mountain and Sugar Mountain from a comfortable rocker on our wrap-around porch. Each season brings its own special beauty and enjoyment at The Perry House Bed & Breakfast.

The many scenic and challenging golf courses in the High Country will fit the bill for all golfers. Fly fishing, hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, and horseback riding are also available close by. We will be happy to make arrangements for any of these activities for you.

Reservation Notes:

Reservations canceled within 7 days (14 days during some holiday/special event times) of the check-in date are subject to the full rental charge with a portion of that charge being credited to a future stay, unless we are able to re-book the room. In this case, you are only liable for any nights that the room remains empty due to your cancellation. Please also be advised that once checked in, you are responsible for all charges shown on your confirmation. All cancellations are subject to a $10.00 processing charge.
