Lummi Island, Washington bed and breakfast: West Shore Farm B&B

By building the home into a slope overlooking the north tip of the island and the Strait of Georgia, both levels have views and ground level entrances.

On the upper level, three walls open onto the sweeping, 180 degree seascape view: of islands, sunsets, seals and Canadian Mountains to the north. In winter, guests can enjoy the view while sitting next to the 12-sided, freestanding fireplace.

In the summer, guests can view the lingering sunsets from comfortable chairs on the front deck. Rejuvenate in the quiet of the beach, garden, orchard, stock of books, maps, healthy food. Dinners by reservation, 2 rooms each with private bath.

Walking the quiet beach with its north and west views of islands and sunsets, passing boats, seabirds, eagles, seals and the Canadian Mountains on the northern horizon. Great birdwatching, photography, bicycling, and reading from our extensive library. Scenic 6 minute ferry ride, call for directions.


Most Popular Rooms:

The Eagle Room: Features a striking view of the water and Seal Rock, and a comfortable reading corner with a restored old leather recliner and its ottoman. Both rooms have a king size bed, a table with chairs, and its private cedar paneled bathroom.

The Blue Heron Room: Has a built-in sink vanity. It also has a waterview, with the above amenities.
