This award winning Florida Bed and Breakfast Inn is located at the northern tip of tropical Pine Island overlooking the waters of Charlotte Harbor in SW Florida and a stone‘s throw from the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Built in 1914, this historic Florida mansion house has been lovingly restored to retain the grace and comfort of the Old South while providing our guests with unrivaled modern amenities and the friendliest of innkeepers who understand what it means to be hosts.

Each of our charming rooms has a queen bed with private bath and comes with evening hors d'oeuvres and wine plus a full breakfast each morning. Our guests happily linger at breakfast, chat and discuss their day’s options over our steaming coffees and teas, custom-blended cereals, hand-cut fresh fruits and hand-squeezed juices, warm baked goods and a hearty hot meal served with gracious Southern warmth.

Guests spend the day relaxing, kayaking the back waters or fishing from our pier. Captain Jim aboard the "Bokeelia Lady" is always available for sunset cruises and sightseeing. Bicycles and golf carts the favored method of transport.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Pine Island Sound, Boca Grande Pass, and the Gulf of Mexico can be reached by boat in 15 minutes or less from our boat ramp and docks. The fishing opportunities are almost unlimited. Tarpon season ( May to July) is always a sports fishermans delight. Bring your own boat or we can help you charter a captain to guide you.

Explore the back waters of Pine Island and the mangroves along Charlotte Harbor with one of our Kayaks, or join in one of the “safari” paddles offered by several local companies.

Pine Island Sound lies between Pine Island and a host of islands that provide a variety of activities for our guests. The "Bokeelia Lady" with Captain Jim at the helm can take you sightseeing, for a sunset cruise or island hopping
Cabbage Key and Useppa Island are favorite stops for lunch.

Plenty of art galleries and gift shops to explore on the island, and for the energetic folks we have several hiking trails aswell as an archeological walking trail and dig.
