Bed and Breakfast Description

Come enjoy the countryside at the Alexander Adams Homestead, a Blairstown, New Jersey bed and breakfast. Visit our animals and take a moment to yourselves.

Lodging accommodations in our private Moravian Stone cottage (circa 1730) provide a wonderful alternative to the typical hotel stay – ideal for a romantic New Jersey vacation or weekend getaway for two or a relaxing hideaway just for you! In addition to our cottage rental, we also have two private suites available for extended stays in our renovated carriage house (circa 1800).

During your stay with us, you can enjoy all of the activities and attractions the Jersey Skylands region has to offer, including hiking, skiing, golf, horseback riding, fine dining, antique and outlet shopping, and much more.

On Weekends, a full breakfast is delivered to your room at a pre-determined time. You can be up to wish me a good morning or sleep in and wake up to coffee and breakfast awaiting you.

On weekdays, we set up a continental breakfast for you in your room the night before.

We clean up breakfast every day, but we do not enter the rest of the living space unless requested. We find our guests sometimes prefer the privacy of their space.

In the spring and through summer enjoy hiking, horseback riding, swimming, biking and golf. Visit the nearby trails and nature preserves including the Lakota Wolf Preserve.

The fall leaves are truly a striking sight to behold and winter allows skiing and snow boarding within a half an hour from this fabulous cottage.
