Bed and Breakfast Description

A forested hillside provides the backdrop for the lodge, which is perched on six acres of coastal gardens and pines above the inlet of Buckhorn Cove. Enjoy the unfolding drama of sea and sky from the comfort of your room, private deck or take a short stroll to Buckhorn Cove to explore the beach and tide pools first hand.

The Seafoam Lodge's Crows Nest Conference Center offers unparalleled amenities in a setting with great natural beauty and ocean sunsets. It provides a secluded place for team working, discussions, creative thinking and problem solving agendas. It is ideal for family reunions, friendly get-togethers, wedding receptions, and religious retreats.

The comfortable guest rooms have king or queen sized beds, telephones, refrigerators, coffee makers, color televisions, and VCR's. Some guest rooms have kitchens or fireplaces. Enjoy our enclosed hot tub. Each morning a continental breakfast basket is delivered to your room between 8:00 and 8:30 am.

Fine dining can be had at one of the superb restaurants of Little River or take the three mile drive along scenic Highway One to the Victorian village of Mendocino. The Village is famous for its gourmet eateries, quality art galleries and unique shops.

The Mendocino coast has a lot to offer you, whether you bike, hike, canoe, dive, kayak, or enjoy whale watching, bird watching, shopping, wine tasting, garden touring, kite flying or just sitting on the bluffs to watch the waves crash on the rocks.

The Skunk Train is one of the most scenic railroads in North America. With a route criss-crossing over the Noyo River and cutting through the coastal mountains to towering redwood forests, a ride aboard the Skunk Train is spectacular.

The Mendocino Botanical Gardens are an easy half mile walk that takes you from the well-tended gardens, through a fern covered canyon, to spectacular vistas at the ocean's edge.

Quail Lane #27: Our two bedroom suite has a full kitchen and dining room, a BBQ on the deck for outside dining, a wood burning fireplace in the living room and full bath with shower and jacuzzi tub. It's living room offers a spectacular ocean view.

Windward #4: Our coziest queen room has a large picture window, a wood burning fireplace, carved beamed ceiling and a private deck. A favorite of returning guests perfect for a couple's getaway.
