Located on the shore of beautiful Lake Kalamalka (ranked in the top ten most beautiful lakes of North America by the US National Geographic Society) three kilometers (1.8 miles) south of Vernon, British Columbia.

Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park is at our back door (excellent for hiking, mountain biking, picnicking, swimming, cross-country skiing and nature park studies). A mountain, meadow, field, forest and private sandy beach on Kalamalka Lake (excellent canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and mountainside hot-tubing)are at our front door. Simply nature at its best!

Illahee Inn, located on 2.5 acres of waterfront property, features two guest lounges, a loft dining room and a lakeshore sunset dining lounge, queen and king suites all with air conditioning, wireless Internet access, private entries, private bathrooms, spacious lakeside balconies, panoramic lakeviews.

Some with fireplaces, whirlpool or air-jetted tubs, wet bar, heated tile floors, love swings or two-person benches on suite balconies, mood-lighting, and stereo/TV entertainment centers.

We are now especially equipped for business travelers. Host meetings or corporate events in our new boardroom where we can provide lunch or dinner.

Illahee Inn offers golf and ski packages with well known Predator Ridge Golf Resort, Vernon Golf and Country Club, and Silver Star Mountain Resort.

Located very near to fruit orchards and outstanding estate wineries such as Gray Monk, Summerhill, Mission Hill, and Hunting Hawk. Speciality cheese making, opal mining, minature animals of Chickadee Ridge, Heli-skiing, cross-country skiing at Sovereign Lakes, the interesting O'Keefe Historic Ranch and the City of Vernon, with its numerous fine restaurants and painted murals depicting the early history of the Vernon Area.

Within about one hour's drive, are the world famous Adams River Salmon Runs and Spatz and Helmelken Falls (2 & 1/2 times higher than Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada). We can, by reservation, take you there! We offer on-site canoe and lake kayaking, park picnics, and park forest nature interpretive walks. Be as active or as laidback as you like!
