Bed and Breakfast Description

Locust Grove Ranch offers 3 lovely, large Bedrooms with private baths, golden oak woodwork and period antiques. The French Country Suite totals 1200 sq ft.with queen and twin bed, sitting room with fireplace, kitchen with stove and refrigerator, and patio doors that open to the pool area.

Other amenities include wireless highspeed internet access, Central AC plus ceiling fans, extensive library, in-room massages ( by reservation ), and an indoor horse arena. An evening dessert is included in the rate.

The ranch is a great place for your family gathering or company picnic, with volleyball, horseshoes, bocce ball and firepit. Bridal or baby showers are special in the great room, with hardwood floors, fireplace, even a baby grand piano.

Morning beckons you with the aroma of a hearty country breakfast and baked goods, served family style in the dining room.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Take a bike ride down the country road or on the excellant rails to trails system , have a swim in the pool, read a good book by the fireplace.

Antiquing, golf, and shopping are just minutes away.

Convenient to Kenyon College and Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Victorian Room : Melt away into a foaming milk bath, then snuggle into soft egyptian cotton sheets on the queen size bed, while the oak fireplace adds a soft glow. The morning sun casts patterns through the lace and leaded glass onto the period antiques.
