Bed and Breakfast Description

Unique and new, The Farmhouse has an understated charm accented with stained glass, iron and stone work, cabinetry and furnishings made by local artisans.

Each room contains a mix of Irish and English antiques and original art. Without clutter, simple and appealing, everything you might need is provided. Our three guestrooms are beautifully and subtly decorated to facilitate your relaxation. Each is complimented with a luxurious queen bed, fine Egyptian cotton sheets, warm alpaca blankets, a writing table, private bath, every amenity, plus lovely views.

Gourmet breakfasts, our Irish pub gameroom, the Alpaca Gift Store and the varied wildlife will make your stay memorable.

Area Attractions and Activities:

When in Clinton, there are a myriad of things to do. Presbyterian College is in town and offers nice walks, an art gallery and a wonderful library. They also have a great line-up of cultural events. For those interested in gardening, there are 3 large specialized nurseries: Park Seed Company in Greenwood, Roses Unlimited in Laurens and Carter and Holmes Orchid Growers in Newberry.

Interested in history? We have the Musgrove Mill Revolutionary War interactive site in Clinton. The Newberry Opera house has a long list of national and international attractions. Antiquing is fun and varied in Clinton. Or a walk about the farm will make you feel relaxed and wonderful.

The Chelsea Room: Upstairs with views all around, the Chelsea room is decorated in calming blues. A four poster bed is central and has detailed carving. An antique writing desk, armoire and a sitting area round out the room.

The Alisa Room: Has its own porch looking out onto the pasture. Four poster bed, antique saddle cabinet, and sitting area make this room perfect. Sit and watch the sun set.
