The home is surrounded tall maple trees, a stream that meanders around the property and a pond. A brick patio and fountain with a view of the large lawn and manicured gardens offer tranquility and beauty.

Tastefully appointed large rooms with ten-foot ceilings, four-poster king size beds, private baths and fine linens greet you during your stay. There are five fireplaces; wood, marble, and brick is present throughout the home. The house also features original oil paintings reflective of the towns grace.

Set on a jewel-clear lake in central New York State, the Skaneateles area is home to a thriving residential and business community, and host to thousands of visitors and vacationers each year.

The Benjamin Porter House is a beautifully restored 1805 Federal Home named after civil war hero, Benjamin Porter. The history of the home is located at the town's historical society, The Creamery, as the Porter home has become a historical landmark and one of the oldest in the Village of Skaneateles.
