Bed and Breakfast Description

Originally named the Cannon Mansion, this beautiful structure was built in 1890 by George M. Cannon and Marion A. Morris. It is listed in the National Historic Register.

The intricate and delicate detail has taken two years of careful and thoughtful planning to complete the restoration. Much planning and work have gone into making this house the gem it once was.

Parrish Place is adorned with numerous, original antique art prints by the famous artist Maxfield Parrish. The artwork is an experience all its own.

During your stay, relax and revisit the times of an era gone by in the Parlor under rainbow reflections from a beautiful, original stained glass window. Carefully sought out period chandeliers accent the original medallions found in most of the rooms. The elegant tile work and carved dining room fireplace retain their original splendor. Relax in the conservatory as you enjoy being surrounded by tropical plants and the soothing sounds of a trickling fountain.

You might choose to participate in some of the numerous activities that Salt Lake City has to offer or just relax in the privacy of your room. However you spend your day, unwind as you soak in the warm, soothing waters, under the stars in the outdoor hot tub.

Winter and summer mountain recreation in Utah's beautiful mountains is just a short drive away. 20-30 minutes will take you to any one of nine world-class ski resorts.

Reveries Room: This secluded room offers a queen four-poster bed with loads of pillows over a feather duvet and an original marble mantel with ornate cover plate. This room has its own private bath with a large jetted tub.

Enchantment Room: Feel like a queen in our most romantic room, featuring an elegant, hand-carved canopy queen bed draped in rich plumb fabric, piled with pillows over a feather duvet. This room is complete with its own private bath.

Reservation Notes:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Traveler’s Checks, Personal Checks and Cash for deposits and payments. For your convenience, we can hold your reservation with a credit card on file. If you wish to pay by cash or check, we ask for full prepayment of your reservation within five (5) days of your call. We will mail confirmation of your reservation upon receipt of your deposit. The wonders of new technology also allow us to confirm your reservation by Email or FAX, if requested. The Parsish Place B&B is a unique property where every guest reservation made is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 72 hours prior to your arrival date. Any cancellations with less than 72 hour advanced notice will incurr a $50 cancellation fee. Rates and policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and for some special requests.
