High Meadow is a cheerful sunny little 3-bedroom cottage located in The Green Mountain National Forest area in Goshen Vermont with water and mountain views.

Bed and Breakfast Description

This unique location offers visitors the opportunity to commune and reconnect with quiet pristine nature.

The owner is an artist and degreed chef who has lived around the world. Patrice emphasizes organic whole foods and grows much of what she serves herself. Friendly pet chickens supply the organic eggs.

The atmosphere is very casual and guests become part of the home during their stay. The kitchen is there for use by the guests if they wish to prepare their own meals and Patrice will make dinners by arrangement from the simple to the elaborate.

Area Attractions and Activities:

High meadow overlooks mountains, a pristine large pond with an island. Goshen is a hiking, fishing, kayaking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing paradise with many miles of well-maintained trails, waterways and lakes.

Cross country ski/snowshoe rentals are within walking distance. Patrice will be happy to share her knowledge of area attractions. In addition High Meadow Bed and Breakfast is located 25 minutes southeast of Middlebury College and 15 minutes from the famous Breadloaf Writer's Conference Center.

Most Popular Rooms:

The south-west room has a short king size bed. It is full of sunlight with views through skylights and a typical west angle window. High Meadow is also available for rental as a whole home or for longer-term room rentals.

The rooms all have Scandinavian furniture and bedding with bright warm luscious colors.
