![]() Red Crags is an elegant Victorian manor known to all in the Pikes Peak area for over 120 years. Originally operated as a healing center, the main house dominates the 2-acre estate. Prominently situated on a bluff, the unique combination of views includes Pikes Peak, Manitou Valley, Garden of the Gods and the city of Colorado Springs. The main floor is open to all guests; high ceilings, hardwood floors and beautiful antiques predominate. The bedrooms all have king size beds, private baths and fireplaces. Many rooms have beautiful hardwood floors. 3 Diamond rating from AAA and Mobil 3 Star. Guests can decide to do nothing but relax or can take advantage of our specials to help round out their stay. Our Manitou Murders, "A Weekend to Die For," provides mystery, suspense, great food and lots of laughs during our Mystery Weekends (Nov., Jan. or by special request). Our Lover's Special package provides a bit of pampering just for the two of you. Enjoy an in-room massage for one or two, roses and chocolates. Or, if you are just looking for a little extra special touch, ask about our small basket packages. Area Attractions and Activities: The town of Manitou Springs is ideally situated for guests to reach a variety of attractions and activities. Whether you have just one day, or can spread your time out, there is something for everyone. The Manitou Springs Historic District boasts a variety of shops, galleries, and restaurants. Both the Cave of the Wind and Cliff Dwellings are just a mile or two from the downtown area. The Pikes Peak Cog Railway or Toll Road provide guests with views that take your breath away. For the outdoor enthusiast, there is hiking, biking, horseback riding, llama walks and whitewater rafting either in town or a short drive away. Close by, in Colorado Springs, visitors can tour the Air Force Academy, Olympic Training Center, Zoo, Glen Eyrie Castle or a variety of museums. The Old Colorado City historic district also has a great variety of shops.
