Bed and Breakfast Description

The Chandler Inn is located a pleasant fifteen minute walk from Main Street Highlands. Surrounded by trees and nature, the Inn includes three barn-sided buildings grouped around a brick courtyard. Porches with swings and rocking chairs, hanging baskets and plenty of bird feeders create a rustic and relaxing ambiance.

Each of our fourteen rooms is individually decorated. Brass headboards, eyelet sheets and comfortes, country wall papers, and native wood paneling have been used throughout. All have private baths, cable TV,air conditioning, and your own private entrance. Our rooms with fireplaces are especially cozy and romantic. Free Wireless Internet service is available to all our guests.

A special part of your stay, every morning we serve coffee and home-made baked goods. Join other guests in our hospitality room, which offers seating by the fireplace, and tables on the outside deck. Or, if you prefer, you may wish to take trays back to your room and enjoy breakfast on your private balcony.

Open year 'round, each season provides a uniquely different reason to visit the Inn. In summer, you are surrounded by lush green foliage. In winter, the bare trees form abstract sculptures. In spring, the woods come alive with colorful wildflowers, accompanied by the orchestral sound of wildlife. In fall, the woods glow as the trees adorn themselves in shades of orange, red, and gold.
