The Potter's Inn

Bed and Breakfast Accommodations

The Potter's Inn has 4 guest rooms all located on the second floor. Artfully furnished each room has a queen sized bed with either memory foam or pillow topped mattresses, armoire, vanity and comfortable boudoir chairs. Three rooms have private baths located in the room, the fourth room has a semi-private bath located in the hallway. Room amenities also include cable TV, VCR or DVD player and wireless Internet access.

Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. We also have an on-site caterer who is happy to arrange additional meals for you during your visit, or help with your special occasion.

Located on the second floor, is a beautiful sun room where you are encouraged to read, relax or play games and fellowship with your family and friends.

In addition to the accommodations available at The Potter's Inn, you can also stay at The Potter's House. Rudy and Pat live in a restored, 200 year-old log home located one mile from The Potter's Inn and right next door to Rudy's pottery studio. A suite with a private entryway, large bedroom with twin beds and fireplace, a library/music room with fireplace, and a private bath with a claw-foot tub and shower is available. A second room, upstairs, has a queen bed and private bath with a claw-foot tub. These rooms can be booked separately or as a package

Area Attractions and Activities:

The Bluegrass is filled with eclectic attractions! From universities, horses, and historic sites, to sports, outdoor activities, and galleries, you can find a myriad of attractions that fit your tastes.

Asbury University and Asbury Theological Seminary, located just blocks away from the inn, both offer a number of seminars, conferences and arts events every year.

History enthusiasts will enjoy Shaker Village (just a short 7 mile drive), or any of a number of Civil War sites. Historic Ft. Harrod is just down the road, as is Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

If trains are of interest to you, our porch offers the perfect view of the North/South passage. Nearby you can visit High Bridge Park and see what was once the highest railroad trestle in the U.S. and is still in use today.

Perhaps you are looking for a simple, quiet escape from the busyness of life. Wilmore is a terrific place to get out and walk or just sit and relax. Drop by Sim's Drugstore for an old-fashioned malt!

Reservation Notes:

A deposit equal to one night's stay will hold your reservation. Most credit cards are accepted, as are checks (received and cleared) and cash. Rates are for single or double occupancy and do not include government fees or tax. The standard size Rooms #2 and #3 are $87 per night. The larger Room #1 is $97 per night. Rooms at the potter's renovated 200 year old log cabin are $77. and $57. All accounts must be paid in full prior to departure. Cancellations. Due to the limited number of rooms available, cancellations made only one to two weeks before the scheduled stay will be charged 50% of the price for the rooms booked. Cancellations received within one week of scheduled stay will be charged the full price. Reservations which are unexpectedly shortened (i.e. arriving later than or leaving earlier than reserved), as well as no shows will also of necessity be charged the full price.
