Bed and Breakfast Description

Cotter, Arkansas bed and breakfast: White River Inn Luxury B&B Lodge

In the common area of the lodge the great room, kitchen and dining room are framed by a large wall of 8 foot windows offering a White River valley view that will take your breath away of the river valley and the river 300 feet directly below. You can see vistas of the Ozarks for many miles from the view from the lodge.

You can sink into oversized leather sofas and chairs and watch sports or a movie on the large screen TV or enjoy a board game. The great room is large enough to find a quiet corner to read, too. Guests are also treated to a hearty, country breakfast each morning.

Trophy mounts adorn the walls of the great room of animals from Central and South America, Africa, Mexico, Canada and the United States. The kitchen area features a full size refrigerator with sodas, juices, bottled water, hot and cold drinks that are complimentary. Enjoy a bottle of wine in the outdoor hot tub with panoramic views of the Ozarks.

Area Attractions and Activities:

The White River System in Arkansas is famous for the world record brown trout that inhabit its waters. The huge double-digit browns are seen and caught regularly enough to make the White River one of the country's most prolific trout fisheries and a fly-fishing destination hot spot.

Activities abound in the area including the Bull Shoals, Mountain Home, Flippin and Norfork communities.

You will find some great original wildlife art at the Rivertown Gallery and if you like railroads, don’t miss the Anglin-Tinnon Railroad Workers Memorial.

Nearby Bull Shoals boasts the twin attractions of Bull Shoals Caverns and Mountain Village 1890.

Over at Flippin, the Forest L. Wood Outdoor Gallery honors the life and accomplishments of its namesake, the creator of Ranger Bass Boats. Also here is the North Central Arkansas Speedway where you can catch a race on Fridays from late March to mid-October.
