Bed and Breakfast Accommodations

In 1891, Silas Griffith, Vermont's first millionaire and "Lumber King," built this grand home as a wedding gift for his new bride.
Nestled on 10 gently rolling acres of meadow in idyllic Danby Village, the Inn enjoys superb 360-degree views of the Green and Taconic Mountains.
The handcarved cherry woodwork, shiny birch & maple floors, custom designed embossed tin ceilings, and stained glass windows are reminders of a bygone era of discriminating tastes and social graces! Lovingly restored, the Inn retains its historical character and charm while providing modern conveniences and warm, friendly Innkeepers.
Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway weekend or for lodging in the tranquility of a Vermont country village, you've found the perfect spot! Here you have the best of both worlds intimate, romantic rooms that you would expect in a cozy bed and breakfast, plus privacy, attentive service, and the amenities of a country inn.
