Reserve this beautifully decorated log home (1450 sq. ft.) with black bear decor all to yourself. (Maximum occupancy is 8 adults) Perfect for a birthday or anniversary gift for that special person in your life, or use us as a rendezvous to meet and relax with friends or relatives. Girlfriends can have a slumber party - we do the cooking - you can relax and visit.

Located one hour east of St Louis (& 5 mi. north off Interstate 70) with 140 acres of secluded woods that you are welcome to explore.

A small pond sits a stone throw away off the front porch. Relax with your glass of wine on the covered porch overlooking the pond and view a beautiful sunset. Listen to the whipporwills and the bullfrogs. Relax by a crackling campfire in our firepit, which has plenty of firewood. Roast s'mores and tell campfire stories. Watch the moon rise, and see more stars than imaginable!

Enjoy the sunrise, your breakfast (included & in the fridge for you to heat when you're ready) and morning coffee on the sun deck. Watch the birds feeding and singing. Use our bird ID book and binoculars if you like. Listen to the geese and ducks honking as they glide in and land on the pond. We provide a map of our walking trails.

Bring your poles and fish in our pond. Pack some hot dogs for your lunch and roast them on the firepit or use our BBQ grill (charcoal provided). We have board games, TV/DVD with surround sound, books and magazines.

Don't forget your wine glasses when you leave.
