Bed and Breakfast Description

Nestled at the base of Wild Horse Mountains of Northwestern Montana, Lonesome Dove Ranch is quaint and secluded. We are open all year, and in the summer offer daily horseback rides with 26,000 acres of wilderness trails (lessons available), Western BBQ’s with top entertainment in the “Wild Horse Saloon & Eatery,” our old refurbished barn, or our new indoor dining room and historical western art gallery which adjoins our country gift shop! Summer concerts and other activities are scheduled periodically. Fall represents the magnificent, colorful Montana foliage, accompanied with abundant wildlife (photo hunts from the ranch and independent hunting nearby). Winters are beautiful with many activities, such as sleigh rides, sledding, cross country skiing, and nearby ski resorts (Big Mountain and Blacktail), as well as dog sledding…all within 45 minutes of the ranch!

Our facilities accommodate day conferences, group and tour bus activities, weddings and receptions, as well as officiating. Our rooms are cozy and offer a peaceful setting with views of buffalo romping, whitetail deer grazing, or the horses roaming in their pastures. A variety of full packages are also available.

We are ideally located a short drive away from Kalispell, Glacier International Airport, Glacier National Park, and approximately one hour from Canada. Golf, fishing and river rafting are nearby. Nearby ski resorts include Big Mountain and Blacktail.

Reservation Notes:

Reservations are required with a 50% deposit at booking and the balance due upon departure. Cancellation policy: 10% fee prior to 60 days, 50% fee prior to 30 days and no refunds 29 days or less.
