Bed and Breakfast Description

Hopewell Junction, New York bed and breakfast: Bykenhulle House

As you anxiously turn on to Carpenter road the scene has begun to be set. The tree lined country road is a quaint neighborhood in Hopewell Jct.NY. As you proceed to Bykenhulle Rd. the destination is seconds away. The stone wall leads you eye to the house, the grand Georgian Manor cream with Black shutters and beautiful porch. As guests park there is a red brick pathway that leads to the front door where the owners Bill and Florence or the manager Jackie will greet you. The front foyer is tall with a crystal chandelier and a grand stair case leading up to the rooms. To your left there are two formal living rooms each with a marble framed fireplace and crystal chandeliers that sparkle in the light. There are books near every seating area and plenty of natural light flooding in from the 8ft. windows. As you walk down the main foyer hallway there is a tea/coffee cart and at the end to the right the last door leads in to the dining room where a full breakfast is served at 9 am everyday but Sunday is 10am. Once you have ascended the stairs each room has been decorated in antiques to compliment the 10 foot ceilings and large windows. Each room has a private bathroom with toiletries and plush towels. Each room has its own identity but all equally a great retreat from the busy world you are escaping. I hope that the pictures and description has enticed you to stay with us and enjoy in the beauty and character of this 1841 Georgian manor house.
