Bar Harbor, Maine bed and breakfast: Aysgarth Station
Aysgarth Station was built in 1895, and has had many owners over the years, each of which has left their own mark on the house. It has seen generations come and go; it has been a private residence and for many years provided room and board for the Greyhound Bus Drivers who came and went throughout the years. Our 100+ year old home, located in downtown Bar Harbor, now provides guests with wonderful accommodations in a unique atmosphere.

The inn offers wonderfully comfortable rooms, full, hearty breakfasts and delightful afternoon refreshments. We have six guestrooms all with queen beds and air conditioning, and the inn is located just minutes from beautiful Acadia National Park. Aysgarth Station offers gracious and unpretentious personalized service to make every guest feel special.

Our charming inn is on a quiet side street, located conveniently close to Bar Harbor's busy waterfront shops and restaurants, a classic Art Deco movie theater and the winding Shore Path walk, which wraps around the oceanfront and the remaining cottages from days gone by.

Relax and unwind on the front porch in our rocker chairs, the third floor sun deck, or in the evening in front of the fireplace. Review your day with the other guests, the innkeepers, Jane and Steve, or play with our three cats, XB, Warwick, and Asticou, or plan tomorrow's adventure while watching a New England sunset.
