Bed and Breakfast Description

The Morning Dove is an 1860's Victorian farmhouse originally owned by the Littlefield's, one of Ogunquit's first families. The Inn has been restored over the years to offer you light, airy guest rooms along with a large fireplaced gathering room - allowing equal opportunity for socializing or quiet relaxation. All our guest rooms and suites feature private baths, mini-refrigerators, televisions, individually-controlled heat and air-conditioning, and hair dryers.

Each morning, a full breakfast is served on our Victorian porch during the summer months, and in our fireplaced gathering room during winter. Breakfast consists of juices, cereal, fruit and yogurt, and your choice of several entrees and beverages.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Enjoy a short stroll to Perkins Cove, the Marginal Way, Ogunquit Beach, and our summer theatre - The Ogunquit Playhouse.

There is exceptional fare at many fine restaurants, along with many shops and galleries throughout the village. Just a short drive to to antique shops and outlet malls.

The Moses Littlefield Suite: Offering a bedroom with queen size canopy bed, a sitting room with two traditional wing chairs and fireplace, and a very large bathroom with corner glassed-in shower.

The Garden Suite: Located on the first floor, this suite offers a sitting room with television, a bedroom with a with a queen size iron bed, plus your own private deck overlooking the gardens and pond. Sun-filled and secluded!
