Established in 1911. Families are welcome, Rock Gardens has been hosting multi- generational reunions for years.

Rock Gardens is a modified American Plan resort, offering two meals a day and complete maid service. Guests are greeted by the welcoming staff, most of whom come back year after year.

Fresh flowers adorn the tables, and all the meals are prepared daily with only the freshest ingredients.

Area Attractions and Activities:

For those who wish to explore the surrounding areas near Rock Gardens, there are stretches of sand and dunes at Popham Beach less than five miles away, the Bath Maritime Museum and the Brunswick Summer Music Theatre. There are boat trips daily nearby, and private fishing charters can be arranged.

Antiquing, shopping trips to Freeport, a day in Portland, or venturing up the coast to Wiscasset and beyond are also popular. Guests can always take a picnic lunch, amply stocked by our cooks, if they wish to go off for the day. The Farnsworth Museum is and hours drive to Rockland, and the Portland Museum of Art is an hours drive to Portland.

There are art workshops held at the inn, kayaking in the cove, and golf and tennis nearby. Weekly bingo games, and contra dances are held at various times during the summer.

Trails End Cottage: 3 bedroom cottage, 3 baths, living room with fireplace and deck, spectacular location on end of point, overlooking the rocks and the ocean.

Westview cottage: watch the sunset over the water from your porch. Two bedrooms, bath, large living room with fireplace. Spectacular views.
