Area Attractions and Activities:
The lodge is perched on a spruce covered hill overlooking forest and wetlands teaming with birds and other wildlife. The premier location on 22 acres in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest offers easy access to the many outdoor recreational opportunities available to you in this beautiful corner of Wisconsin. At the same time terrific dining, shops, art galleries, and other civilized pleasures are located just minutes away.
From the lodge a short stroll will bring you to the peaceful shores of North Twin Lake, a natural lake surrounded largely by national forest land and untouched by jet skis and high power motor boats. Just a mile down the road you’ll find the Rock Lake ski and hiking trail, along with the hub of the Midwest’s renowned CAMBA off-road bike trail system. Less than two miles in the other direction lies a lovely little park at the headwaters of the Namakagon River, one of the first federally designated Wild and Scenic Rivers in the country.
