Main house dates back to 1798 and may have been part of the Underground Railroad. Overlooking Pleasant Bay. Chatham and Orleans are minutes away.

Bed and Breakfast Description

The Main House has four charming bedrooms, each with its own new bath. Two have frontal water views, two overlook the wonderful and quiet gardens in the back. In the building right next to the Main House are three Bay Rooms, again each with private bath, and the Carriage House. The latter has two bedrooms with cathedral ceilings and each with its own bath. The two rooms, one with king-size bed and fireplace, the other with queen bed, can function as a suite with its own entrance

The Inn stands above Pleasant Bay, yet has a small beach and its own dock. The view from the Inn and many of its rooms is breathtaking. The bay definitely lives up to its name: Pleasant Bay, an enchanting haven for sailing, kayaking, swimming or strolling along the beach when the tide is out.

We serve a European Breakfast Buffet overlooking the bay or on our garden patio.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Pleasant Bay is an enchanting haven for sailing, kayaking, swimming or strolling along the beach when the tide is out. Close by are several challenging golf courses, public and private.

The shops and restaurants in the villages of Orleans and Chatham are minutes away. And, if you come at the right time, you can witness the cranberry harvest right next door. Indeed, the little Inn is the ideal place to rest and enjoy the Cape.
