Bed and Breakfast Description

Welcome to SeaBreeze. I'm your hostess, Ann Dunham. Each morning I'll prepare you a fresh-baked homemade bread of muffins and pastries served with with tea and fresh-ground Starbucks coffee, sliced fresh fruit, premium granola, yogurt and fresh-squeezed juices - all included with your stay.

Here's a brief description of my suites:

Penthouse Suite: This, my most romantic suite, has a private oceanview deck with VERY private, romantic hot tub. Sit in the spa and count 32 palm trees on the sweeping ocean horizon. King bed, whirlpool tub is perfect for bubble baths.

Beach Suite: My largest suite sleeps up to 4 with a plush Queen bed and 2 twin beds. Personal shower plus a large tub that's is just right for bubble baths.

Moonglow Suite: 2 comfortable twin beds and a nice ocean view.

OceanView Suite: Big, plush Queen bed.

Walk to Moonlight Beach to swim, body surf, or just relax and watch dozens (or hundreds!) of world-class surfers. Keep an eye out for Gray Whales and Bottlenose Dolphin.

Swami's Surf Beach (made famous in the Beach Boys hit song "Surfin' Safari") is just 6 blocks south down legendary Highway 101. The world’s finest surfers surf Swami’s and Moonlight Beach every day of the year.

Take a walk from SeaBreeze through our little "downtown" on legendary Highway 101 - a unique "arts" community of speciality shops, bazaars, coffee shops and amazing restaurants - all with a laid-back "beachy" flair.

Here you will find 6 miles of beautiful, wide sandy coastline offers surfing, boogie boarding, body surfing, volleyball, sunning, swimming, kayaking.

Nearby you will find Marine Refuges, Quail Botanical Gardens, LegoLand, the world-famous San Diego Zoo, San Diego Natural History Museum, Balboa Park, Old Town, The Gas Lamp District, Sea World, the Scripps Aquarium.

The Beach Suite is our largest room. The new bathroom features a large tub for soaking and a shower. Our meditative Koi Pond with gentle waterfall is directly outside your window; it's guaranteed to lull you to sleep.

Hello, Welcome to SeaBreeze at Moonlight Beach! Our policies are simple, common-sense and good-neighborly. Please take a moment to read them. CHECK-IN: Check In Time is 3:00-6:00 p.m. If you need to check in later, please telephone and we will leave your registration information on the front door. CHECK-OUT: Check Out Time is 12:00 noon. CELL PHONES: Please respect the right-to-tranquility of other guests and limit cell phone usage to your room, never in the Sunroom or common areas. TRANQUIL AND PEACEFUL SEABREEZE: When staying with us, please keep televisions and radios on low volume so as not to disturb other guests who may be meditating, reading, napping or just enjoying the fresh ocean breeze. SMOKING: SeaBreeze is a non-smoking inn, which includes not only the rooms, but the grounds and outside decks and patios. Smokers may take a pleasant walk 150 feet down the street to Cottonwood Creek Park, a delightful park with beautiful trails and plantings. CHILDREN: To ensure peace and tranquility for our guests, we cannot take small children. Please call us to discuss older children. We limit occupancy to 2 persons per room except for the Beach Suite which sleeps up to 4. PETS: SeaBreeze is for people. If you have a pet, we can refer you to an excellent "bed and breakfast" for him or her, too -- just ask. SINGLE NIGHT STAY: Please note that we must add $25 for a single night stay. We apologize that the automatic reservation system does not do that automatically. We will add that amount manually prior to or at check-in. COUNTY TAX: San Diego County requires all hotels and inns to charge a 10% “occupancy tax.” Our on-line reservation system will automatically calculate and add the 10%. PARKING: SeaBreeze has a small parking lot with room for only one vehicle per suite. Please park any additional vehicles in the Cottonwood Creek Park parking lot 1/2 block south (open until sunset) or overnight in the Encinitas Train Station parking lot, located one block to the south, kitty-corner across Encinitas Blvd. GUESTS OF GUESTS: We regret that due to limited parking, we can't accommodate the vehicles of your guests even for brief visits. Please arrange to meet them at a location other than SeaBreeze. * * DEPOSIT POLICY * * Because we have only four suites and are in high demand, we cannot hold a room for you until you commit with a credit card. Please remember that you do not have a reservation until your room is paid in full by credit card or cash. * * CANCELLATION POLICY * * SeaBreeze Inn is a small, resort property where every guest reservation is important and special to us. Because most guest book months in advance, cancellations can be difficult for us to fill. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us within the required number of days (see below) prior to your scheduled arrival date to cancel your reservation for a refund less a $25 per night cancellation fee. 14 day cancellation notice for stays totaling one or two nights. 30 day cancellation notice for stays totaling 3 to 6 nights. 60 day cancellation notice for stays totaling 7 or more nights. In the unlikely event that you cancel with less than the agreed days of notice, shorten your stay, or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation.
